Aqueduct Technologies Named a Top Place to Work by the Boston Globe - Aqueduct Tech

WALTHAM, MA, November 19, 2019 – Aqueduct Technologies Inc. – New England’s leading technology solutions provider – announced today that they have been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the Boston Globe’s 12th annual employee-based survey project.

The Top Places to Work list ranks companies in Massachusetts who truly go above and beyond for their employees. In an in-depth survey done in partnership with Energage, a Philadelphia-based employee research and consulting firm, the Boston Globe sent employees anonymous surveys covering 24 factors, including leadership, training, and the ability to work at their full potential. The employers with the highest scores were then divided into categories based on the number of employees. Aqueduct Technologies ranked an impressive #24 on the small company list out of 323 companies.

Aqueduct Technologies’ ongoing commitment to their customers, community and, most importantly, employees is what makes them a best place to work. Aqueduct firmly believes that great employees make a great company, which is why they are committed to offering employees an enjoyable workplace where they feel like they are being developed, challenged, and motivated to evolve and improve amongst like-minded peers and leaders. This year, Aqueduct announced an expansion to their Charitable Giving Policy, an initiative launched in 2018 with the mission of encouraging employees to give back to charities that are most meaningful to them through a dollar-for-dollar match to augment the impact of employees’ fundraising efforts.  The expansion now offers employees a Community Service Volunteer Day so they can gift their time, as well, in a personally meaningful way.

In a featured article from the Boston Globe, Eric Bullen, Aqueduct Service Coordinator, shared his experience on how Aqueduct challenges him in new ways from his past experience with the United States Air Force.

“I’m retired from the Air Force as an air controller, but here at Aqueduct, I’m directing traffic in a different way. We provide technology solutions for companies, everything from data migration to security. As service coordinator, I make sure IT requests are matched to the right team so technology issues are resolved quickly. Just as my role in the military required analysis and attention to detail, this role also demands efficiency. But there’s also a work-life balance , which I appreciate. I have some service-connected medical injuries and have the flexibility to work remotely, which is very helpful. This company is all about people, and I feel lucky to be here.”

Last Thursday, November 14th, 2019, Manak Ahluwalia, President and CEO of Aqueduct Technologies, celebrated with members of the Aqueduct team on their achievement at the Boston Globe Awards Show.
